"While teaching children the ukulele , I developed these really simple one string banjos.  I wanted something to get beginner's fingers started, and to build confidence with very young children. They are tuned to a scale, have an unbreakable string, and by matching the coloured dots on the neck to the dots in the included  songbook, kids have instant success in playing real music.  Stepping up to a ukulele afterwards is easy!"
(Ages @ 3 to 7)

One String Banjos are individually made, with a choice of 'wooden box'  ($35) or 'cookie tin' ($25).  Four page songsheet included.  Postage varies - please contact Graham to check and to place an order.

Graham makes these 5 piece rhythm kits for all ages to enjoy.
Includes: triangle and striker, claves (rhythm sticks), guiro (scraper) sand paper blocks, shaker egg. Comes in a hand sewn thick fabric bag, for years of use.
$22 each plus postage.

Graham's Concerts

Graham loves nothing more than making new friends at a show!  He adapts to whoever is in the audience, from very young children to primary and elementary school kids.  He enjoys singing at birthday parties, schools, libraries, festivals and community events. He performs solo, or with the Barn Cat Band. No show is too large or small, as long as there are children and families to sing with!  Please contact Graham to discuss your event.

Easy Learning Musical Instruments for Beginners:   Graham is also a music teacher who especially enjoys getting young children started making music.  He builds One-String Banjos, with colour dot sheets, to make playing melodies simple. Hand co-ordination, comprehension, reading skills, and confidence quickly develop from 3 to 7 years.  His Rhythm Kits include shakers, scrapers, and strikers, along with counting and rhythm  sheet with tips for playing, that any age can use and enjoy.  (Watch for videos coming soon!)
